Use the category and load on your own TESCO bill. The provider name or a broad area label does not establish the tariff or concessions on a particular connection.
Check what applies to your connection
A TESCO connection should be identified using its own bill. A broad description of an area does not tell you the tariff, subsidy treatment, account balance or billing arrangements for an individual consumer.
After a lookup, check the provider name, reference number, service details and tariff/category. If a charge or category is unfamiliar, ask TESCO to explain the entry for the period shown. This guide does not claim that every account in a region receives the same concession or follows the same payment arrangement.
Get the TESCO document
- Locate a TESCO referenceCopy the 14-digit Reference No from your utility document. Retain its leading zero if there is one.
- Choose the matching PITC fieldPaste into the official reference field. If your document gives a Customer ID instead, use the portal’s separate Customer ID search.
- Verify the result belongs to youMatch the reference and service details before acting on the displayed balance. A correctly formatted number alone does not verify account ownership.
If no bill appears, contact the utility with the document you have. Do not interpret an empty public search as an official statement that nothing is payable. Our site cannot access private account notes or outstanding application records.
A calculator needs the category, not just units
The residential estimator uses a named NEPRA schedule and the category and load you enter. It cannot decide special eligibility, detect an account concession, model every connection type or replace TESCO’s issued bill.
Use the calculator only for a matching residential category. For any other tariff or account-specific arrangement, get the applicable schedule and explanation from TESCO.
For ordinary bill reading, separate energy units from money amounts and separate the current period from any earlier balance. The charges guide helps identify the line you want the utility to explain.
Make a specific request for help
Record the reference, bill month and the exact disputed item for the official complaint service. If the problem is a power outage rather than billing, provide the location and time instead of only a rupee total. Keep the complaint ID and response.
Requests to change the name, load or tariff of a connection belong to the provider’s application process. The public duplicate-bill form cannot amend those records. Check whether your provider and required service are available in ENC before starting an application.
TESCO support and complaints
For a TESCO reading, balance or supply issue, use PITC’s electricity complaint portal or the complaint contact printed on your current bill. Save the case number so you can follow up on the same issue.

Questions you may have
Does TESCO mean a special tariff automatically applies?
Do not infer individual treatment from the company name alone. Confirm the tariff and any concession with TESCO using the issued bill.
Can a missing online result be treated as a zero balance?
No. Account status and amounts due need confirmation from the utility.
Can PakistanBillCheck change my account category?
No. Category or load changes require the provider’s service process and supporting information.
