Check the company printed on your latest bill. PESCO and HAZECO have separate lookup pages; a general location search can take you to the wrong one.
Choose by the current bill, not a broad location label
PESCO and HAZECO have separate PITC bill portals. An old bookmark or a general “KP bill” search can send you to the wrong one. Read the provider name on the latest document you have before copying its reference number.

This comparison does not assign every town or connection to a company. Boundary and account questions should be resolved from current provider records. Do not assume that a neighbour’s bill or an old search result applies to your meter.
What to do on the PESCO portal
- Take a PESCO reference numberUse all 14 digits from the printed Reference No field. Keep leading zeros and avoid confusing it with a meter serial number.
- Open and complete the official formThe helper tries to copy the number and opens PITC. Paste it there. If you use Customer ID, choose that separate option on the official page.
- Check the returned accountConfirm the service address, billing month and reference before saving or paying. If details differ, stop and re-check the identifier.
An empty result should be treated as a lookup problem until the provider explains it. It is not evidence that a meter is disconnected or that nothing is due.
Outage information and bill information are different
The bill portal provides an issued bill. It is not a live outage map and cannot tell you when a feeder will be restored. For a supply issue, report the location and start time through the complaint channel on the bill or PITC CCMS.
For a billing issue, preserve the bill month and disputed line instead. The complaint decision helper explains which evidence to prepare. Keep the complaint number so later follow-up refers to the same case.
Keep older documents without mixing identifiers
If your records include documents from different providers, keep them with their original dates. Use the current issuer and account details for a new lookup. Retain older receipts for reconciliation; do not edit their provider name or substitute a new reference on a historical receipt.
PESCO support and complaints
For a PESCO reading, balance or supply issue, use PITC’s electricity complaint portal or the complaint contact printed on your current bill. Save the case number so you can follow up on the same issue.
For an error in this guide, contact PakistanBillCheck with the page link and the sentence or broken link. Leave out your private account details.
Questions you may have
Should a Hazara customer always use PESCO?
Use the company on the current bill. This site offers a separate HAZECO route and does not assign your account from a city name alone.
Can you show a PESCO outage schedule?
The bill helper cannot show live supply status. Use the official complaint or service channel for that request.
Why does my old PESCO bookmark not find a bill?
First check whether your current document names PESCO and whether the identifier is complete. Ask the provider if older and current account records differ.
