Open the official domestic RLNG application → Complete the application and upload documents there. We explain the process; SNGPL decides feasibility, issues the demand notice and installs the connection.

Is a new SNGPL connection available for your house?
SNGPL currently processes new domestic connections on imported RLNG. Its domestic RLNG FAQ says the ban on new system-gas connections remains. An existing neighbour's system-gas account does not mean your new connection will have that account's tariff.
The online form requires SNGPL's operational network in front of a fully constructed, occupied premises. Check the exact property and address; being in a city served by SNGPL is not enough. A locality declared illegal by the relevant authority, or incorrect documents, can result in rejection. If the network position is uncertain, ask the local SNGPL office before applying.
Prepare the right documents and online uploads

The online form's combined upload limit is 15 MB. Include every page of the property record in one legible PDF where needed. Use the same complete name as the CNIC, a working mobile number and the connection address with its landmark. Check the files open before uploading them to SNGPL.
Use the official landlord specimen for the requested permission. It includes responsibility for outstanding dues, so the owner should read its commitments. Keep identity and property files private; this website does not receive them.
New connection charges: security, service line and fast track
Checked 2 October 2026: SNGPL's domestic RLNG procedure displays these security and service-line totals. Its FAQ lists an additional Rs. 25,000 urgent fee for fast track.

These are not complete home-installation quotes or monthly gas bills. Internal piping, materials and installation/testing costs are separate. Use the issued demand notice for other applicable charges. The contract describes the service-line charge as nonrefundable and permits security review. Charges can be revised; fast-track payment does not establish an installation date.
From application to meter installation
- Apply and keep the receipt Choose normal merit or fast track in SNGPL's domestic RLNG application. Save the submitted reference and later acknowledgement.
- Let SNGPL assess the premises Its survey checks feasibility and prepares the houseline plan where supply can be provided.
- Read the proposal and demand notice Match the applicant, address, connection basis and charge components. Ask about an unclear item before paying.
- Complete the prerequisites Arrange qualified houseline work to the approved plan and provide the required completion evidence with the signed RLNG contract and requested papers.
- Pay and retain proof Obtain the official challan and use its authorized bank or online payment route. Keep the receipt for SNGPL's record.
- Confirm installation through SNGPL Installation follows completed prerequisites and turn. Record commissioning and meter details when supplied.
SNGPL's published procedure says payment date generally determines installation turn after the prerequisites. No fixed number of completion days is established here. No person is authorized to take connection-charge cash on SNGPL's behalf.
Confirm the completion document before arranging work
The current RLNG procedure asks for enlisted-contractor installation/testing and a completion certificate. An older SNGPL exemption page describes a consumer undertaking instead. Ask the responsible office which document it requires for your proposal; do not assume a blanket exemption.
The domestic contract requires licensed installation/testing and company checks. SNGPL's authorized workmen handle its meter connection. This guide does not provide do-it-yourself piping or pressure-test instructions.
Keep one private application record
- Save the application reference, acknowledgement and selected route.
- Keep the proposal, demand notice, contract and payment receipt together.
- Record each office response, its date and any document still requested.

Questions you may have
Can I apply for a new system-gas connection?
SNGPL's checked FAQ says the system-gas new-connection ban remains; new domestic applications are for RLNG. Existing accounts and new accounts should not be assumed to have the same tariff.
Is the Rs. 21,500 total the entire installation cost?
It is the displayed security-plus-service-line total for a plot up to 10 marla. Internal houseline costs, fast-track fee if selected, and other applicable demand-notice charges are separate.
Are normal and fast-track documents different?
The official FAQ says the same application form and documents are used for both. Select the intended option and check the issued charges.
